The Service Tech will need to be able to drive a crane truck close to where you want the tank. We can not cross septic systems, or shallow tile pipe due to the weight of this vehicle. Doing so can cause severe damage to your septic and/or drainage systems. This vehicle needs an area that is unobstructed to at least 10 feet high and wide, without excessively steep grades to safely maneuver into the tank setting position.
The service tech will also need to cut a trench about 4 inches wide, and 12 to 18 inches deep from the tank location, to the gas inlet on the structure. All underground utility lines, and drainage tiles that could be damaged by the trenching machine should be marked. These lines can be marked by your utility company, or by contacting OUPS (Ohio Utilities Protection Service) at 1-800-362-2764.
